FAQ
Questions,
answered.
Everything people ask before they apply. If yours isn't here, ask it on the application and Mitchell will answer on your kickoff call.
Getting started
Who is Fit Union for?
Anyone who wants to be healthier. Whether you sit at a desk all day or work a job that keeps you moving, your body is doing a job too, and you should train with purpose. Brand new or getting back into it, your plan starts where you are.
How does it start?
Apply here (about five minutes), then book a kickoff call with Mitchell. You talk through your goals, schedule and equipment, choose a plan, and your dashboard login and plan are ready within 24 hours.
Do I pay before the kickoff call?
No. You only pay once you and Mitchell agree on a plan, so you never pay for coaching that isn't a good fit.
Do I need a gym?
No. Mitchell's library has programs for the gym and for home, and personal programs are built around whatever equipment you have.
The dashboard
What is the Fit Union dashboard?
Your home base. Log your weight, meals and workouts (exercises, sets, reps, weight and heart rate), follow your plan, browse Mitchell's workout and recipe libraries, and watch your progress charts update. Every plan includes it. Try the demo.
Do I need to download an app?
No. The dashboard works in the browser on your phone or computer, and you can add it to your home screen like an app.
Can it sync with my watch?
Not yet. For now you type in your heart rate after a workout. Syncing with Apple Health and other trackers is on the roadmap.
Nutrition and meal plans
Do you provide the food?
No. Fit Union never sells or delivers food. We coach you on what to buy, how to prep it and how to build meals you enjoy, so the habits stick.
Do I get a meal plan?
On All-American, yes: a personalized meal plan every week, reviewed and approved by Mitchell. Walk-On and Starter get the recipe library, and Starter adds personal calorie and protein targets.
Is this medical or dietitian advice?
No. Fit Union is fitness and nutrition-habit coaching for healthy adults. We don't diagnose or treat medical conditions. If you have one, or you're pregnant, check with your doctor before starting, and tell us on your application.
Plans and coaching
What's the difference between the plans?
Walk-On gives you Mitchell's workout and recipe libraries, the full dashboard and a monthly check-in. Starter adds a program and targets built for you, weekly check-ins and messaging. All-American adds a weekly meal plan, a workout schedule adjusted every week, a weekly Zoom call and Mitchell's cell. Compare the plans.
How do I reach Mitchell?
On Starter, message him in the dashboard and he replies within one business day. All-American clients also get his cell number and a weekly Zoom call. On Walk-On, he answers your questions in your monthly check-in.
Who builds my plan?
Mitchell does, with help from Fit Union's planning tools, which draft programs and meal plans from your goals and logs. Mitchell reviews and approves every plan before it reaches you.
Can I switch plans or cancel?
Yes. Move up or down a plan anytime, and cancel anytime from your account with no fees or phone calls. Payments aren't refunded, so when you cancel you keep full access until the end of the month you've already paid for, and you won't be charged again.
What happens if I fall off track?
It happens to everyone. If you go quiet, Mitchell reaches out. That's the union part: no ghosting, in either direction.
Still
curious?
Apply without picking a plan. Mitchell will answer your questions on the kickoff call, and you pay nothing until then.
